For her husbands birthday gift, a client wanted a different kind of family portrait, and who else would she call but me! lol We met for coffee and discussed doing a Doll House photo shoot, which would consist of a picture of herself placing her daughters around her home – as if she were playing with dolls in and around a doll house. I went up in a helicopter to take a shot of her house for the overall doll house. We then spent a few hours in studio shooting her two daughters as the dolls in various poses that they came up with on their own, as well as a shot of herself as the “puppet master”. We added in a picture that she gave me of her husband so he could be peering out of the doll house window. This is the end result:
