This July, a week before the British Open, Lindsey had the fun and honour of photograping Mike Weir for some promotional shots at his home course in Muskoka. For the golf swing shot, Lindsey was situated to the front right of Mike, and he said he would shoot the ball 8 yards to her right. He said not to worry that he'd hit her and since he was Mike Weir, of course she trusted him. This went on for a few swings and then Lindsey decided to shoot from the ground right in front of him. At this he said that now he'd be able to shoot the ball right over her head. He did this and each time Lindsey could hear the "swoosh" of the ball as she kept capturing the action. All of a sudden a divot came right at her and got stuck in the camera! Mike and Lindsey laughed so hard; it really made for a fun shot! The first image is this story captured on film...

In 2005 Lindsey Maier photographed Bruce Willis. She captured a different side of Bruce that the public rarely sees, as he and his band, Bruce Willis and the Accelerators rocked out under the dramatic stage lights. Lindsey was able to capture his true rock star persona by using the mood and atmosphere, along with the interaction of the band.

Lindsey Maier has also had the pleasure of photographing the legendary and renowned Dr. Henry Morgentaler. His fight for pro choice has rendered an image of a tough and hard-handed visionary, when in reality his personality is 99% playful. When Lindsey photographed him in 2005 she really captured a side of him that the world had yet to see. The people closest to him such as his friends and family were delighted to see that Lindsey could portray the side of him that they know and love.
